About Sarah Ko
Dear viewer,
Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Sarah Ko and I am currently a dental student at California Northstate University College of Dental Medicine. I am originally from Naperville, Il and moved to Detroit, MI where I attended undergrad at University of Detroit Mercy. Though I am pursuing a career in the sciences, art has always been a creative outlet for me. The collections of work displayed on this site fall in line with my varying interests such as gastronomy, still life, sculpture, digital work, and more.
In my down time (as much free time as a dental student has), I favor working with acrylic paints on canvases. I have tried exploring many different subjects, however I recently have been interested in going back to practicing classic still life paintings. I also have been dabbling in a bit of digital art and uploading the designs onto my redbubble site @ artbykojpg.
As I document my progress, I hope you as a viewer can not only see the evolution of my work but also become inspired to create something of your own. Everyone’s creative process is different and I strongly encourage everyone to do their best to exercise that part of them. Thank you for your visit and please enjoy the work that is displayed here!
